What Data We Collect

What purpose do we use your Personal Data?

We collect Personal Data that you give to us, for example, when you make an enquiry about a service we offer, or complete the email alert form for you to receive news and other financial information. We may process your Personal Data to communicate with you, provide you with further information about our services or business and how we can serve you better, and process your application for employment with Weevil Company or to fulfil our contractual obligations with you. We may also process your Personal Data to comply with provisions of applicable laws.

As an international Company, we have offices and people around the world and more predominantly in the United States of America, the United kingdom, Israel, the United arab emirates, Rwanda, Kenya and Ghana.

Information that we collect may be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate in order to enable us to use and process the information in accordance with this Policy.

Personal Data may be transferred outside the country in which it was collected and/ or processed, for legitimate business activities in accordance with applicable law. In addition, to the extent permissible by applicable law, the Company may store and/ or process Personal Data in facilities operated by Third Parties on behalf of the Company outside the country in which the Personal Data was collected and/ or processed. Countries outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) do not always have strong data protection laws. Where the Company transfers Personal Data from the EEA to other countries in which applicable laws do not offer the same level of data privacy protection as the EEA states, the Company takes measures to provide an appropriate level of data privacy protection. For example, the Company uses approved model contractual clauses, and other measures designed to ensure that the recipients and/or processors of the Personal Data protect it.

Requesting information we hold about you

If you have submitted information to Weevil Company, you may send a request at any time to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you and to have any mistakes corrected or apply any updates. The requests should be directed to the Company’s Data Protection Officer (DPO) at dpo@weevilcompany.com, and you will receive a response within the timelines prescribed by Regulations.

Protecting your personal information and data retention

Personal information disclosed to Weevil Company is not retained within databases on our website. It is kept secure, accurate and up to date within our CRM software which is compliant with applicable Regulation. We retain this information in line with our Data Retention Policy for so long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is used.

Security of your Personal Data

We take security of your Personal Data serious, and We make every effort to keep your Personal Data secure. We have put in place technological and organizational procedures, including requiring our staff and any third parties who carry out any work on our behalf to comply with appropriate security standards in order to protect your Personal Data.

Your Rights

Weevil Company collects Personal Data only for the purposes identified in this Policy and such information cannot be reused for another purpose that is incompatible with the original purpose. 

You can exercise the following rights with respect to your Personal Data with Weevil Company:

1) request for and access your Personal Data collected and stored by Weevil Company;

2) withdraw consent at any time;

3) object to automated decision making;

4) request rectification and modification of Personal Data kept by Weevil Company;

Whilst this site does not contain explicit or sensitive content, it is not intended for children under the age of 16. Weevil Company does not knowingly collect personal information from or about any person under the age of 16.
